Gandhari

Gandhari is most famously a major character in the ancient Indian epic, the Mahabharata. As the Princess of Gandhara and the wife of the blind king Dhritarashtra, she voluntarily blindfolded herself for life out of solidarity with her husband. She is also the mother of the one hundred Kauravas.
