Data Center
Tesla is building its own “1st of its kind” data centers, hinting on its focus for a broader, interconnected future beyond just EVs. In a digital age dominated by Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform, data is the new electricity/oil, and Tesla recognizes how important it is to have a robust infrastructure, esp as more Teslas get on the road and millions of data points get digested by the mothership. Also, by keeping these centers locally, they will eliminate latency and enhance real time data crunching, crucial for the rapid decision making required in FSD. Remember, every Tesla car isn’t just a vehicle, it’s a moving data hub, with millions of cameras capturing information from all around the world. And with these new data centers, it will allow Tesla to continue to train its AI, refine algorithms, and improve safety & efficiency of its >4M Teslas on the road today. https://twitter.com/Teslaconomics/status/1691098359321501697
