1986, Matunga. A little temple where our Arangetram happened in the presence of near and dear ones.
August 1997, Mylapore. It was our first vocal concert in Carnatic heartland- the iconic Shastri hall. Where connoisseurs of deceptively humble mien listened keenly and gave their report card in which moderate praise and sharp criticism figured equally. Their decree was one of absolute knowledge and integrity. From gaining the approval/ winning hearts of rasikas of Mylapore and Malleswaram, we learned and grew in experience, discernment and musical wisdom.
November 2025, Royal Albert Hall. We're about to sing at one of the most celebrated spaces in the world for music. The list of icons who have performed here runs long and luminous. Some journeys are meant to be, just as some humble beginnings lead to unimaginable destinations. Destiny and grace. We acknowledge and offer gratitude to both as we prepare to take centre stage at a venue which is arguably, musical Royalty.
