It is Yamini and not Yamani
Hailing from a small town in India that didn't even have a high school, she started her career serving food at a restaurant. Now she's the CEO of a $25B company. Here are 4 pieces of business advice from the CEO of Hubspot, Yamani Rangan: https://twitter.com/ArjunMahadevan/status/1679124093340139527
- Customer centricity is not an initiative, it is a way of being.
- Through the ups and the downs, care deeply & persevere relentlessly.
- You cannot and should not assume whatever has worked for you in the past is going to continue to work for you in the future.
- You need to go slow to go far. My tendency was, just go fast - I get to the answers really quickly, that was my sprinter mentality. But as a manager, you look around and there's no one following because they don't feel like you empowered them. So you have to go slow and ask questions instead of giving answers, and to enroll instead of providing that vision directly.
